Take Notes

We take notes by reviewing your design layouts, architectural designs, and requirements that you provide us. Then, our waterproofing estimators analyze the relevant areas that require waterproofing, such as foundations, roofs, basements, and walls.

Identify Materials & Quantify Them

Now we make a list of required materials including coatings, membranes, sealants, and more. We get the help of Bluebeam, Trimble, and PlanSwift to measure the quantities of waterproofing materials.

Measurements

We calculate the surface areas, volumes, lengths, and other necessary parameters for each material. For example, we measure roof areas, expansion joints, and drainage locations for roof waterproofing. For wall waterproofing, we calculate vertical and horizontal wall areas for coatings and sealants, and for basement waterproofing, we quantify floor and wall surfaces, and interior and exterior applications.

Cost Estimation

For cost analysis, we dig deep the local market conditions according to the client’s location. Our team calculates the total cost of the materials required and assesses the need for labor, man-hours, logistics, and material waste. We provide a detailed cost breakdown for each component of the waterproofing system.

Recheck the Estimates

To ensure the highest level of accuracy, our waterproofing estimating team double-checked the document. They cross-reference quantities, verify material specifications, and confirm that all project requirements have been met.

Delivery of Waterproofing Takeoff Reports

Now is the time to share the deliverables. We export all the data from the tools to an Excel spreadsheet in accordance with CSI MasterFormat within 12-24 hours.
